I started my insurance career 15 years ago after graduating from the University of South Florida. I accepted a claims processor position with Ceridian in St. Petersburg, FL. I quickly realized that transactional processing in the health insurance environment requires analytical and solution thinking which came naturally to me. I began my management journey 4 years later when I was promoted to Supervisor of Benefits where I had the opportunity to train and motivate staff members along with implementing process improvements. Because of my enthusiasm and success, I was given the opportunity to lead an off-shoring project that allowed me to travel abroad gaining knowledge of other countries.
In 2013, I moved on to work for HealthPlan Services (TPA in Tampa) where I held several management positions which expanded my knowledge to the Business Processing Outsourcing side of a TPA. Most recently joining Continental Benefits, this is an opportunity to utilize my extensive experience bringing leadership skills and a broad understanding of TPAs to deliver a remarkable customer service experience.
